Our Organization
Southwest Muslim Community Centre (SMCC) was formed in 2006 to serve the Muslim community in Southwest Edmonton. From humble beginnings in a small rental in the Riverbend area, we are now blessed to operate two mosques in southwest Edmonton β Annoor Islamic Centre and Masjid Annoor.
Over the years, Alhamdulillah, we have grown into a vibrant hub of worship, learning, and community support. We strive to uphold the highest standards of service, inclusivity, and spiritual enrichment for all who walk through our doors.
Mission
To provide an environment for spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical balance in accordance with Qur’an and Sunnah (teachings and example of the Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί).

Spiritual guidance, family counseling, and support for life’s challenges.
Classes for all ages: Tajweed, Tafsir, and Hifdh programs.
Nikah ceremonies, pre-marital counseling, and family support services.
Weekend school, youth halaqas, and community engagement events.
