SMCC is hosting a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Prevention workshop for the Parents of our community. The workshop will be led by a psychologist who is also a mental health specialist.

We strongly encourage parents with children of all ages to attend the workshop and learn valuable techniques and strategies on how to address mental health and substance abuse issues our children face in their lives.

Adha BBQ 2023

SMCC is pleased to announce the return of our annual Adha community BBQ!

This year our BBQ will take place on Saturday July 1, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Gold Bar Park Site 1 located at 10955 – 50 St. NW (Park site map & Google map at the bottom of page for directions).

Tickets may be purchased from any Shura member or the ticket price ($10 per person) can be sent by e-transfer to treasurer@masjidannoor.ca. If you send by e transfer please put “Eid Ul Adha Ticket Fee” in the message. If you send an e transfer your ticket will be handed to you during the picnic.

Ramadan Iftar Dinners

SMCC is pleased to serve our community members an Iftar dinner each Saturday during this blessed month of Ramadan at AIC (332 Saddleback Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T6J 4R7). Iftars will no longer be held at Masjid Annoor.

We are still accepting donations for the Iftars. Please send donations through e-transfer (specifying the donation is for Iftars) to treasurer@masjidannoor.ca OR contact Brother Mahbub Choudhury at 1-780-709-6276 to donate cash.

Below are the dates that Iftar will be held at AIC:
Saturday, March 25
Saturday, April 1
Saturday, April 8
Saturday, April 15
Saturday, April 22 (Potentially Depending on when Eid is Announced for)

Meals will be distributed immediately after Maghrib prayers. To facilitate the distribution of the meals, we kindly ask everyone to be seated as we bring the meals out.
